A conical shape, on the bottom part of the burner, the torch carries the inscription "XV Olympia Helsinki 1952" and on the rings underneath "Helsinki Helsingfors". As a decoration, in the middle of the surface of the burner, on one side a laurel crown and on the other the Olympic rings. The handle is in lacquered wood.
